Our First Visit

We had been investigating coastal real estate from Carmel to Inverness, and were also considering Calistoga. The distance is about 185 miles from Carmel to Calistoga.

I had contacted the realtor Terry Donohue from Bolinas Real Estate about a low-key "resort" in Point Reyes that had 15 acres and could accommodate 17 people, but it quickly became obvious that I was getting in over my head.

So I told our very sweet and personable realtor that our dream was to find a place by the beach. The problem was that many other people share the same dream and there isn't much beach property available. We decided that Stinson was the place to look and within two weeks a house came up and we grabbed it.
